India, S Korea Discuss Economic, Technology, Defense, Maritime Cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW DELHI, July 17 (KUNA) -- India and South Korea held on Thursday discussions to deepen economic, technology, defense and maritime cooperation.
Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a statement in his official X account that he met earlier today in New Delhi Republic of Korean President Lee Jae Myung's delegation of Special Envoys to India led by former Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyu in New Delhi.
"Discussed economic, technology, defense and maritime cooperation. As well as expanding people-to-people exchanges," Jaishankar said.
He added that India would engage the new administration actively and work towards further enhancing the Special Strategic Partnership. (end)
