Kuwait Shooting Club Training Program Identifies Young Talent, Teaches Skills

KUWAIT, July 16 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Shooting Club's training program aims to identifying young talent and teach the youth shooting skill, affirmed Club President Duaij Al-Otaibi.
Al-Otaibi told KUNA that over 1,000 young participants have enrolled in the two-month course, which covers Olympic shooting disciplines including shotgun, rifle, and archery.
The training, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Sport, is being held at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex and is overseen by international-level coaches.
Al-Otaibi emphasized that the initiative supports the club's goals of expanding the sport's base in Kuwait and investing in youth during the summer break.
He praised the Public Authority for Sport, particularly Acting Director General Bashar Abdullah, for facilitating the program's success, and commended the promising performance and commitment of the participants, expressing optimism for the future of Kuwaiti shooting.
On the national team's front, Al-Otaibi noted that shooters continue regular training in preparation for upcoming international competitions and concluded by thanking Kuwait's leadership for the ongoing support. (end)
