Breakthrough In Humaira Asghar Case As Police Extract Data From Phones, Laptop

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Police investigating the sudden death of television actress Humaira Asghar have made significant progress after retrieving key data from her personal electronic devices. Asghar was found dead last week in her apartment in Karachi's upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase 6.

According to SSP South, Mehzor Ali, a special six-member investigation team has been formed under the supervision of SP Clifton, Imran Ali Jagirani. The team has been tasked with determining whether the actress's death was natural, accidental, suicide, or a potential homicide.

Investigators have accessed three of Humaira's mobile phones, a tablet, and a laptop, all of which were locked but had passwords recorded in a personal diary found at the scene. Forensic analysis of her data, including call logs, messages, and social media activity, is currently underway.

Police have already recorded the statements of two individuals and have summoned several others, including the building's security guard and maintenance staff. Authorities are also looking into her regular social and fitness routines, and intend to question her gym trainer and beauty salon contacts to establish a clearer picture of her final days.

According to police sources, the actress had consistent communication with a select group of individuals. Details regarding these contacts are being compiled, and her financial records, including bank account activity, are under scrutiny to identify any suspicious transactions or motives.

Interestingly, Humaira Asghar's family has not yet approached the police to initiate formal legal proceedings, adding another layer of complexity to the case.

As the investigation continues, authorities remain tight-lipped about any conclusions, but say all angles, including foul play, remain open. The case has garnered considerable attention within entertainment circles and the public, given Humaira's growing popularity and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death.
