Chemical Plant Producing Missile Components Attacked In Moscow Region, Ukraine Claims


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) That is according to Ukrinform, citing a statement on Telegram by Andrii Kovalenko, Head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council.

Kovalenko stated that the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant manufactures explosives, gunpowder, and components for ammunition and missile systems.

He emphasized that this plant is a key link in the technological chain supplying the Russian army with artillery shells, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and ballistic missiles.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Energia Plant in Yelets, Lipetsk region, Russia, which manufactures batteries for missile guidance and correction units, was also attacked.
