Gaza Bleeds: Israeli Strikes Kill Ten Palestinians Since Monday Morning

(MENAFN) A wave of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of at least 10 people and left numerous others wounded since early Monday, according to medical officials.

In Gaza City's Al-Rimal district, a single strike hit a clinic that had been converted into a shelter, killing six individuals—including a toddler—and injuring 15 more, a medical source reported to media.

Further south, a residential building in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood was bombed by the Israeli military, resulting in one Palestinian fatality and multiple injuries, confirmed by medical personnel and eyewitnesses.

At the al-Bureij refugee camp, located in central Gaza, the Israeli army’s attack on a residential home caused three deaths and additional injuries, a healthcare worker at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital revealed.

In Deir al-Balah, four displaced Palestinians suffered critical wounds when a tent shelter was struck by Israeli forces, the medical source added.

Since October 2023, over 57,400 Palestinians—predominantly women and children—have been killed in Gaza due to Israeli military operations.

US President Donald Trump, set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House later Monday, stated he believes a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas may be reached this week.
