Amman, July 3 (Petra) -- Moderate summer conditions are expected to prevail across most regions on Thursday, with relatively hot weather in the Badia and higher temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Mid-level clouds may appear during the day, accompanied by northwesterly moderate winds that will become active at times.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, Friday's forecast indicates continued typical summer conditions in most areas. The Badia will remain relatively hot, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience hotter temperatures. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate to occasionally active.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday. Weather will remain seasonally typical across the highlands and plains, with relatively hot conditions in the Badia and hotter conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue from the northwest at moderate speeds, occasionally strengthening in the eastern regions.
Another minor increase in temperatures is anticipated on Sunday. Most areas will see relatively hot conditions, while the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot. Northwesterly winds will persist at moderate speeds, becoming active at times in the eastern part of the country.
Maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday are forecast as follows: eastern Amman 32 C to 21 C, western Amman 30 C to 19 C, northern highlands 28 C to 16 C, Sharah highlands 29 C to 15 C, Badia regions 36 C to 20 C, plains 32 C to 20 C, northern Jordan Valley 39 C to 22 C, southern Jordan Valley 41 C to 25 C, Dead Sea 40 C to 24 C, and Aqaba 40 C to 26 C.
