GCC Reiterates Backing For Lebanon Security, Stability - Chief

RIYADH, July 1 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) supports all measures taken by Lebanon to keep national security and stability intact, the six-member bloc's chief Jassem Al-Budaiwi said on Tuesday.
Lebanon's ties with Gulf Arab states have seen continued progress over the years, the GCC chief told Beirut's outgoing ambassador to Saudi Arabia Fawzi Kabbara amid talks, in which they also discussed current happenings in the region and beyond, the bloc said in a statement. (end)
