Netanyahu Plans Washington Visit

(MENAFN) Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Tuesday that he would journey to Washington in the coming week to engage in discussions with American authorities.

"I am expected to leave next week for meetings in the United States, including with President Donald Trump,” a newspaper cited Netanyahu as declaring during a cabinet session.

“These events follow the great victory we achieved in Operation ‘Rising Lion.’ Exploiting success is no less important than achieving success,” he continued, referring to the latest aerial assaults targeting Iran.

At the time of reporting, the White House had not yet provided any official confirmation regarding Netanyahu’s upcoming visit.
