CTD Kills Two Terror Suspects In Bannu, Two Traffic Police Officers Shot Dead In Lakki Marwat


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Two alleged terrorists were killed in a gun battle with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bannu on Monday.

According to the CTD, the slain men, identified as Hussain Ahmad and Inaam Toro alias Jihad Yar were affiliated with a proscribed organization and were wanted in multiple cases related to attacks on security forces.

In a separate incident, two traffic police officers were shot dead by unidentified assailants in the jurisdiction of Ghazni Khel police station.

The attack occurred near Gul Baz Dhakkan, where Constables Israeel and Sanaullah, both residents of Long Khel village, were en route to their duty station at Tajazai Adda.

Sources said the armed attackers also took away the weapons of the slain officers before fleeing the scene.

Meanwhile, in Karak's Tehsil Takht-e-Nasrati, a domestic dispute turned deadly when a man opened fire in the Nara Banda area, killing his sister-in-law, nephew, and another relative.

Police confirmed the suspect targeted his brother's wife, her son, and a relative during the altercation. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.
