Army Chief, US Diplomat Discuss Cooperation, Regional Developments

Amman, June 25 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, met on Wednesday with Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Amman, Rohit Nepal, at the General Command headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF).
They discussed recent regional and international developments as well as areas of military cooperation between Jordan and the United States.
They tackled joint training, capacity-building, and the exchange of military expertise.
The meeting was attended by the US Defense Attaché and senior JAF officers.
