Iranian Airspace Remains Closed Due To Recent Developments

TEHRAN, June 25 (KUNA) -- Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development on Wednesday confirmed that its airspace will remain closed in light of the latest developments in the country.
Ministry spokesperson Majid Akhwan spoke to the press saying that following latest events and for the safety of travelers and flights, the country's airspace was declared closed until 2 p.m.
He called on citizens to refrain from heading over to airports and keep up with related news through official sources.
The Iranian capital, Tehran and other cities have been under heavy attacks by the Israeli occupation, met by Iranian missile attacks on occupied territory.
American President Donald Trump announced Monday night a ceasefire agreement between Iran and the Israeli occupation, and it came into effect Tuesday morning. (end)
