Israel Accepts Mutual Ceasefire Proposal

(MENAFN) Israel has formally acknowledged its agreement to a mutual ceasefire with Iran, following an initiative presented by U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

According to an official government release, “In light of achieving the operation’s goals and in full cooperation with President Trump, Israel agreed to the president’s proposal of a ceasefire by both sides.”

This statement emphasized the successful conclusion of Israel's strategic objectives and its alignment with U.S. leadership.

The Israeli authorities asserted that they had neutralized risks associated with Iran’s nuclear ambitions and missile development, gained aerial dominance over Tehran’s airspace, and inflicted significant harm on Iran’s military infrastructure and government facilities.

Israel also extended its gratitude to President Trump for his “defensive support and participation in removing the Iranian nuclear threat,” underscoring the role of U.S. assistance in achieving their objectives.

The government concluded with a stern warning, stating, “Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire,” signaling that any breach by Iran would trigger immediate consequences.
