Iranian Missile Hits In Beersheba

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, June 20 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation army activated its air defenses on Friday morning but they failed to intercept an Iranian missile which hit its target in the southern town of Beersheba.
Five persons were injured in the missile attack besides significant material damage, the army said in a statement.
Four drones launched from Iran at Israel overnight were intercepted, according to Times of Israel.
One was shot down in the northwestern city of Haifa, while the other three were intercepted over the Dead Sea area, the newspaper reported, citing military sources.
The Iranian TV announced, a short while ago, the start of a new wave of missile attacks on the Israeli occupation entity as the war between both sides enters its eighth day. (end)
