Türkiye’s Stock Edges Up to 9,355 Points
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s primary stock index, the BIST 100, kicked off Tuesday’s trading session at 9,355.81 points, marking a modest gain of 0.06%, or 5.8 points, compared to the previous day’s close.
On Monday, the index climbed 0.41%, finishing at 9,350.01 points, while daily trading volume hit a robust 89.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.28 billion).
By 10:30 a.m. local time (07:30 GMT), currency exchange rates were recorded at 39.3730 liras per US dollar, 45.5920 liras against the euro, and 53.5010 liras for the British pound.
Meanwhile, gold prices were steady at $3,388.40 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was valued at $72.80 per barrel.
