King Checks On Readiness Of National Centre For Security And Crisis Management To Deal With Impact Of Regional Developments

Amman, June 16 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II chaired a meeting on Monday at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), where he reviewed the readiness of the center and various state institutions to deal with the consequences of Israel's attack on Iran.
During the meeting, attended by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, who is the NCSCM's chairman, His Majesty was briefed by Brig. Gen. Hatem Al Zoubi, deputy chairman of the centre, on preemptive plans and measures to deal with recent regional tensions in order to safeguard Jordan's security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
The King urged maintaining close coordination among all institutions to enhance their ability to deal with any developments, and to continue to call on citizens to abide by public safety instructions.
His Majesty expressed appreciation of all state institutions and personnel for their efforts in protecting the nation and citizens.
Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Interior Minister Mazen Farraya, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah attended the meeting.
