Bahrain Assures Importance Of Investing In Youth For Better Future

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, June 3 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan Tawfiqi affirmed on Tuesday that investing in the empowering of the youth in the region, particularly in the fields of innovation, technology, and the space sector, represents a strategic challenge for building a brighter future and keeping pace with its developments.
This came in a speech by Tawfiqi during the opening of the event One Space Unites Us, which is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs to celebrate Gulf Youth Day in coordination with the Bahrain space Agency and the Nasser Scientific and Technical Center.
Tawfiqi highlighted the importance of the event as a landmark that supports development trends in the fields of space science, stressing that the sector has become a strategic pillar reflecting the aspirations of the youth in keeping pace with scientific and technological developments.
She also mentioned the importance of the event as it embodies the necessary integration among GCC countries in the field of space and youth empowerment, and the promising opportunities this holds for leadership and innovation that contributes to achieving unified development goals that serve the future of the region with efficiency and competence.
