Clashes Erupt Between Chelsea, Betis Fans Ahead of UEFA Final

(MENAFN) Tensions flared in Wroclaw, Poland, on Tuesday as supporters of Chelsea and Real Betis clashed just one day before the UEFA Conference League final.

British and Spanish fans, gathered in the city's Market Square—an area hosting multiple UEFA events including the Fan Festival on May 27 and 28—confronted each other in a heated altercation.

Despite enhanced security measures, Polish police were unable to prevent the outbreak of violence. A brawl broke out among rival fans, prompting officers to deploy a sound bomb to disperse the crowd. Several individuals were detained, while injured fans were assisted by their fellow supporters at the scene.

The UEFA Conference League final is scheduled to take place on May 28 at Stadion Wroclaw.
