Syria encounters turning point with sanctions relief


(MENAFN) Trump’s government new decision to decrease long-time sanctions on Syria has aroused wary hopefulness between Syrians and local viewers, following over ten years of war, lots of people see it as a possible critical moment in the nation’s difficult route upon rehabilitation.

the US Treasury Department released on Friday a comprehensive permission to financial dealings with the temporary Syrian government, the central bank, and state-run companies. The measure covering a waiver of almost 6 months which falls under the Caesar Act, a US legislation that sanctions the ex-Syrian government, as well as ex Leader Bashar al-Assad.
