Kuwait Health Min. Refers 23 Institutions To Responsibility Apparatus For Breaches

KUWAIT, May 26 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health dr. Ahmad Al-Awadi has ordered submission of 23 medical institutions to the medical responsibility apparatus for irregularities in advertisement and practices.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement on Monday that the referred institutions include hospitals, medical centers, clinics and laboratories, adding that inspection teams reported regulations' violations related to medical advertisements.
Some of these advertisements' contents contradict professional principles and are of commercial, rather than, professional nature.
The irregularities cover medical practices that breach Law 70/2020 that regulates medicine and back-up professions, as well as patients' rights. (end)
