Final Preparations Underway for the 4th Edition of the “Bromine Women’s Race”
(MENAFN- Yahoo) Amman, Jordan (May 2025) – Run Jordan, is in the final stages of preparation for the much-anticipated fourth edition of the “Bromine Women’s Race,” scheduled to take place on Friday, May 30th, at Al Hussein Public Parks. The event is organized by the association in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality and several dedicated partners.
Held under the inspiring slogan “Run for You,” the race will feature two distances: 5.2 km and 2.6 km. Participants are expected to gather from 8:00 a.m., with the official start time set for 9:00 a.m. Races for individuals with disabilities and those who are visually impaired will commence ten minutes before the start of the main race.
The final phase of preparations includes mapping and securing the race routes, setting up water stations, and mobilizing volunteer teams to support participants and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the course.
Ms. Lina El-Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, expressed her confidence in the event’s success, emphasizing that the race embodies the organization’s commitment to empowering women and fostering their engagement in sports within an inclusive and secure environment. She extended her sincere appreciation to all partners and contributors, particularly the Greater Amman Municipality, Jordan Bromine Company as the race’s main sponsor, with Arab Bank as the gold sponsor, and the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company as the silver sponsor. Additionally, Ghadeer Water is the official water sponsor and Zain as the official communications partner, while VY Fitness Club is the race’s sports partner. Meal support for volunteers is generously provided by Buffalo, Al Dayaa, and Siniora.The race is anticipated to attract wide participation from women across all age groups and fitness levels, offering a unique blend of athleticism, social awareness, and women’s empowerment.
