IMF Mission Begins Work In Ukraine


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission has begun discussions in Kyiv with Ukrainian officials as part of the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement.

The IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.

"An IMF mission, led by Gavin Gray, has started policy discussions today in Kyiv with the Ukrainian authorities on the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement," IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Priscilla Toffano said.

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received more than $12.4 billion in funding from the IMF. Following the United States and the European Union, the IMF is the third-largest provider of financial assistance to Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

In 2025, Ukraine is expected to receive $2.7 billion from the IMF, contingent on the outcomes of four quarterly program reviews.
