Qatar, Sweden Officials Discuss Ties And Gaza Mediation Efforts

Stockholm: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari met Sweden's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs H E Dag Hartelius in Stockholm on Monday.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to several topics of common interest.

Separately, Al Ansari also met member of the Swedish parliament and Chairman of the Gulf-Swedish Friendship Committee, H E Arin Karapet; and parliament members H E Yusuf Aydin and H E Magnus Resare and discussed cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria, as well as Qatar's mediation efforts in a number of issues, in addition to several topics of common interest.
