
India-Pak Conflict: Pakistan's Denial Yet Another Example Of Duplicity, Quest For Disinformation, Says FS Vikram Misri
"What I want to underline is that the official and blatantly farcical denial of these attacks by Pakistan state machinery is yet another example of their duplicity and the new depths that they are plumbing in the quest of disinformation ,"Misri said at the special press conference on May 9.

Pakistan on Friday rejected Indian media reports alleging that it had launched drone and missile attacks on multiple locations in India, calling the claims“entirely unfounded” and part of a“reckless propaganda campaign”. In a statement issued just after midnight, Pakistan's Foreign Ofce said such actions only serve to further endanger regional peace.
Pakistan's statement was with regard to its army violating Indian airspace several times over the entire western border with the intention of targeting military infrastructure on 8 May.

Around 300 to 400 drones were used to attempt infiltration at 36 locations. The Indian armed forces shot down many of these drones using kinetic and non-kinetic means,” Colonel Sofiya Qureshi siad in the same press conference on Friday.
Pak trying to impart a communal hue: MisriIn the same way is Pakistani claims that they didn't attack any religious places, Misri said.“Instead of owning up to its actions, Pakistan made the preposterous and outrageous claims that it is the Indian armed forces that is targeting its own cities like Amritsar and trying to blame Pakistan... They are well-versed in such actions as their history would show,” Misri said.
He also blamed Pakistan for spreading disinformation that India targeted the Nankama Sahib Gurdwara through a drone attack, which, he said, is yet another blatant lie.“Pakistan is trying desperately to impart a communal hue to the situation with an intention to create a communal discord,” he said.
The Indian Army said on Friday morning that it remains committe to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation and that all nefarious designs will be responded to with force. The Army said that the dron attacks emanating from Pakistan were effectively repulsed, and a befitting reply was given to the ceasefire violations.

Pakistan army also resorted to numerous ceasefire violations (CFVs) along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir . Thedrone attacks were effectively repulsed, and a befitting reply was given to the ceasefire violations, the Indian Army said.
Friday's attack by Pakistan and counter-offensive by India comes a day after India destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The strike by India, coined Operation Sindoor , came two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir , in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed on 22 April.
