MECC Showcases Environmental Initiatives At DIBF
DOHA: Minister of Environment and Climate Change H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie visited the Ministry's pavilion at the 34th edition of the Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) at DECC yesterday.
The Minister toured the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change's interactive environmental exhibits, which feature a range of publications and awareness programmes showcasing the Ministry's key environmental projects and initiatives. These efforts are designed to promote environmental awareness across all segments of society.
The Ministry's participation in DIBF reflects its commitment to fostering a culture of reading as a foundation for social awareness-particularly among younger generations. This aligns with Qatar's national goals for sustainability and the preservation of natural resources. Through its pavilion and publications, the Ministry seeks to highlight the country's ongoing efforts to protect the local environment.
