Iraq's Premier: 34th Arab League Summit Addresses Key Regional Issues
(MENAFN) Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani stated on Sunday that the 34th Arab League summit, set to take place in Baghdad next month, will have major implications for the Arab world.
Al-Sudani made the comment during a meeting with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, and other delegates attending the Arab parliamentary sessions in Baghdad.
He emphasized that the summit, occurring amid significant regional challenges, will see Iraq striving to ensure the results reflect the importance of the current moment.
Meanwhile, al-Yamahi expressed his appreciation for Iraq's supportive stance on Arab issues, particularly its stance on Palestine and Gaza, the statement added.
The 34th Arab League summit is scheduled for May 17 in Baghdad.
