Bp Talks On Safety Measures Amid Adverse Weather Conditions In Azerbaijan


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. bp has special safety rules and procedures for adverse weather conditions for both its offshore and onshore operations, bp Azerbaijan told in response to Trend's inquiry regarding the adverse weather conditions in the country.

“These rules and procedures are activated in advance based on the weather forecast and are strictly observed by all personnel at all our facilities. In accordance with these safety rules, open-air activities are normally restricted while operations continue as normal,” said the company.

Starting from the night of April 14 to 15, the weather in most parts of Azerbaijan has been rainy, with downpours of varying intensity in some areas.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, the amount of precipitation recorded is 6 mm, which accounts for 26% of the monthly norm.
