
Brazil’S Fruit, Footwear Exports To Kuwait Grow
The information was collected from Comex Stat system of Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services. The overall decline was influenced by lower exports of products such as meats and offal , which are the top exports, at USD 17.7 million in February last year and USD 16.4 million in the same month this year. Exports of coffee also decreased, from USD 256,300 to USD 237,600 in the same comparison, as well as meat preparations , from USD 528,900 thousand to USD 168,900.
Exports of cast iron works , which were nonexistent in February 2024, reached USD 407,000 last month. Fruit exports increased from USD 18,200 to USD 346,400 in the same comparison, footwear from USD 133,900 to USD 306,200, wood from USD 87,800 to USD 201,800, paper and cardboard from USD 73,300 to USD 172,700, and furniture from USD 79,900 to USD 139,900.
Export originsThe Brazilian state that exported the most to Kuwait in February was Paraná, followed by Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Goiás, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Ceará, Mato Grosso, and Espírito Santo. The ports of Paranaguá in Paraná, São Francisco do Sul in Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande in Rio Grande do Sul were the three main ports through which most goods were shipped.
