Army Chief Visits 41St Mechanized Battalion Of Martyr Abdul Hamid Sharaf

Amman, Mar. 27 (Petra)-- Major General Yousef Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was welcomed by the commander of the Southern Military Zone when he visited the 41st Martyr Abdul Hamid Sharaf Mechanized Battalion, which is a part of the 93rd Prince Zeid bin Al Hussein Mechanized Brigade, on Thursday.
Al-Huneiti attended military briefings on logistical and operational issues, the region's border protection activities, and its role in thwarting smuggling and other types of infiltration in order to preserve the Kingdom's security.
In order to protect the country's borders and capabilities, Al-Huneiti emphasized the significance of making every effort to stop infiltration and smuggling attempts.
