GCC Chief Blasts Israeli Occupation's Establishment Of Agency To Displace Palestinians

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, March 24 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Al-Budaiwi condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to establish an agency for the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
He also decried the recent measures of the Israeli occupation authorities to legalize 13 Jewish settlers' outposts in the occupied Palestinian West Bank.
The Israeli measures constitute a flagrant violation of the international conventions, and pose a grave threat to security and stability in the Middle East region, Al-Budaiwi noted in a press release on Monday.
He reaffirmed that the GCC stands in full solidarity with the brotherly people of Palestine in their resistance against the illegal and inhuman practices of the Israeli occupation authorities.
He reiterated that the only way to security and stability in the region is through the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the pre-June 1967 borderlines and with East Jerusalem as its capital city. (end)
