Chaos Over KP's Ramadan Relief: Delays, Illegal Deductions Frustrate Beneficiaries
Speaking to TNN, a citizen highlighted the struggles of beneficiaries traveling from remote areas, only to return home empty-handed after waiting the entire day. People have urged authorities to address the JazzCash system malfunctions and ensure proper commission payments to retailers to speed up the process.

Meanwhile, reports from various districts indicate that JazzCash agents are illegally deducting Rs. 300 to Rs. 350 from each Rs. 10,000 payment, despite the government already covering a Rs. 65 service fee per transaction. Affected citizens have strongly protested against this unauthorized deduction, demanding immediate action from authorities.
In response to complaints of illegal deductions, the district administration in Dera Ismail Khan arrested multiple JazzCash retailers and transferred them to lockups. FIRs have been registered against the accused shopkeepers as authorities crack down on malpractice in the Ramadan relief distribution.
