Pakistan's Footwear Exports Increase Over 15 Pct In First 8 Months Of FY 2025

Islamabad: Pakistan's footwear exports increased 15.48 percent in the first eight months of the current fiscal year starting from July 2024 to June 2025, compared to the same period of the last fiscal year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) said on Thursday.

The country exported footwear worth 126.41 million U.S. dollars during the period of the ongoing fiscal year, the PBS said.

On a year-on-year basis, the footwear exports appreciated by 11.57 percent in February 2025 to 16.98 million dollars.

However, on a month-on-month basis, the footwear exports declined by 9.20 percent in February 2025, according to the PBS.
