(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Fidan’s office reported that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held discussions with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Geneva, as part of an unofficial meeting aiming at resolving Cyprus dispute; however, particulars of their discussions have not been disclosed.
Additionally, the gathering, organized by Guterres, unites delegates from the three guarantor countries—Turkey, Greece, and the United Kingdom—aiming to explore potential solutions to the ongoing and complex Cyprus conflict.
The event served as a significant opportunity for dialogue on resolving the long-lasting conflict that has left the island divided.
