White House: Israeli Occupation Inform US On Resuming Operation Against Gaza
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
WASHINGTON, March 18 (KUNA) -- The White House announced late Monday that the Israeli Occupation had informed the US administration on its wide-scale airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, which ended the ceasefire agreement.
Karoline Leavitt, White House press Secretary, told FOX News that the Israeli occupation had "consulted" with the administration of President Donald trump before carrying out its act.
She indicated that according to President Trump, Hamas and the Houthis would "pay" for their actions.
Leavitt also indicated that Trump also addressed all the "terrorists" in the Middle East and their proxies "allegedly" support by Iran, indicating that the President called on them to take him "seriously".
A US National Security Agency (NSA) spokesperson told the press that the Israeli occupation notified Washington of its intention to resume military operations against Gaza.
The US administration did not show rejection to the step, but asked the Israeli occupation to "minimize" civilian casualties and also follow international rules and regulations when carrying out this operation, said the source, which reflected the US understanding of the Israeli occupation actions especially after the US allegedly claimed that Hamas refused to extend the ceasefire agreement.
Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that military operations would resume against the Gaza Strip, a matter led to the death of scores of innocent civilians so far. (end)
