Foreign Minister, Syrian Counterpart Discuss Reconstruction, Cooperation, Security

AMMAN - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met on Monday with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Shibani ahead of the Ninth Brussels conference on Supporting Syria.
The two ministers discussed the situation in Syria, with Safadi reiterating Jordan's firm stance in supporting Syria's reconstruction on principles that uphold its security, unity, and the rights of its people.
They also explored ways to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors, including energy, trade, transportation, and security according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
