Qatar, Russia negotiate mutual relations


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Qatar’s Emir sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani organized meetings in Doha with Russian First Deputy Premier Denis Manturov to negotiate mutual relations as well as the conflict in Ukraine.

A remark by the emir’s office, the Emiri Diwan, stated that the negotiations focused on mutual ties as well as several matters of shared concern.

A Foreign Ministry remark stated that Premier Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman additionally gathered with Manturov to negotiate practices to deepen mutual collaboration ties along with the most recent updates of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in addition to local as well as international matters of shared interest.

Sheikh Mohammed confirmed Qatar’s backing for all international measures to reach a peaceful resolution to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict via talks along with diplomatic methods, the ministry has stated.
