Eagle1 camera addresses the rising demand for high-resolution, high-performance imaging solutions in robotics and industrial automation. Equipped with two 5.1-megapixel BSI dual mode global shutter/rolling shutter RGB-IR image sensors, it captures high-quality images at 60 fps at full resolution.

A key feature is its simultaneous RAW RGB and IR output, ensuring uncompressed image capture in all lighting. The Eagle1 also includes a Maxim GMSL2 serializer for high-speed, long-distance data transmission, crucial for real-time, high-accuracy imaging in industrial settings. For low-light applications, the Eagle1 stereo camera features an IR illuminator for consistent lighting and a dot projector for enhanced 3D depth perception, ensuring high accuracy in dark environments.

The Eagle1 camera will utilize indie's iND880 Camera Video Processors (CVP) for color and infrared processing. The iND880 features a multi-context Image Signal Processor (ISP) that independently processes four input streams: stereo RGB and stereo IR. RGB contexts ensure high color fidelity, SNR, and HDR, while IR contexts focus on high resolution and SNR. With sub-1ms latency, it enables real-time image processing and superior quality in various lighting conditions. Additionally, image processing with iND880 helps offload DRAM bandwidth on the Jetson Orin, optimizing resources for the entire AI/ML and computer vision pipeline.

The camera is powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin, which delivers high processing power and advanced AI capabilities ideal for a variety of applications including robotics and industrial automation.

Leopard Imaging will showcase the Eagle1 camera at NVIDIA GTC 2025 with a live demonstration featuring the LI-VB1940-GM2C-137H camera, the indie iND880 processor, NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module, and Leopard Imaging's advanced driver development. Attendees can visit Booth No. 248, March 18th - 21st, to experience the camera's capabilities firsthand. To arrange a meeting, please contact [email protected] .
