Finnish President says Putin appears as ‘winner’ in Trump, Zelenskyy fight

(MENAFN) Finnish Leader Alex Stubb added on the verbal fight between the Ukrainian and United States leaders at the White House, saying it helped his Russian peer.

“I think at the end of the day, there was only one winner of that exchange, that was Vladimir Putin,” Stubb informed a news agency.

“The conversations that I’ve had since, in the past 72 hours, are pretty much about let’s move on. Let’s get back on track. Let’s see what diplomacy can do,” Stubb mentioned, signifying that international presidents were previously anticipating a longer beneficial route after the intense argument.

He hoped that the talk in London would reveal the initial stages to new diplomatic attempts.

Stubb realized that NATO had gone through changes following United States Leader Donald Trump's government, expressing that the authority in Washington is getting "more transactional."

But the Finnish leader confirmed that NATO stayed tough, stating that the coalition is “still alive and kicking.”
