More Severe Cold Over Weekend In Kuwait But Will Taper Off Saturday -- Meteo


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is forecast to witness scattered rainfalls over the weekend, coupled with cold blows from northeastern Europe causing gradual temperature hike.
Acting Director of Kuwait Meteorological Department Dherar Al-Ali said in a statement to KUNA on Thursday that the weather would tilt toward coldness today (Thursday), amid partial clouds and unsteady northwesterly winds, forecast at 10-40 km/h, with scattered clouds and a temperature ranging between five to eight degrees.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be largely identical, with winds blowing at 12-40 km/h and the heat ranging between 17 and 19 degrees. At night, it will be quite cold as the heat will be at 8-10 degrees.
Al-Ali added in the remarks to KUNA that the weather on Saturday would be moderate, partially cloudy amid heat between 18 and 20 degrees. However, it will turn cold at night, forecast at 11-13 degrees. (end)
