(MENAFN- Live Mint) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, offered prayers at the Bageshwar Dham temple in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) also shared a video of the visit with Dhirendra Shastri.

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh to lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute in Chhatarpur and also inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, which would take place in Bhopal.

“ A very special visit to Bageshwar Dham. I commend their noble effort of working to improve healthcare and serve society,” PM Modi captioned the post.

PM Modi inaugurated a medical and science research institute at Bageshwar Dham, which will include a 100-bed cancer hospital aimed at providing free treatment to underprivileged patients. The project is estimated to cost over ₹218 crore.

During his address, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the support he received and emphasized the importance of unity and service to the nation. He highlighted the hospital's role in enhancing healthcare access for the local population.

The event saw the presence of prominent figures, including Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, who praised Modi's commitment to serving the country and expressed appreciation for his repeated visits to the region.

Following his visit to Bageshwar Dham, PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, which aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a global investment hub.
