Doha, Qatar: Al Wakrah face Saudi Arabia's Al Taawoun in a crucial AFC Champions League Two Round of 16 second-leg clash at Al Taawoun Club Stadium in Buraidah today.

With a place in the quarterfinals on the line, both teams will be aiming for victory after their first-leg encounter at Khalifa International Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw, setting the stage for a tense decider.

"We're fully prepared for the decisive match against Al Taawoun, knowing that the winner will advance," said Al Wakrah coach Poya Asbaghi.

As I mentioned after the first-leg, we are here to win and we have the capability to do so. The players are highly motivated, aware that we're facing a strong team in front of their home crowd," he added.

Al Wakrah advanced to the knockout stage after finishing second in Group A with four points, while Al Taawoun secured their spot by topping Group B.

Determined to correct their mistakes from the first leg, Al Wakrah will look to deliver a sharper and more cohesive performance to keep their title hopes alive.

The clash promises to be a true test of both teams' ambitions as they battle for a spot in the last eight.
