Israeli bombing murders 2 Palestinian policemen


(MENAFN) On Sunday, two Palestinian policemen were murdered in addition to another that was critically wounded by Israeli bombing in the southern Gaza Strip in Rafah, regardless of a ceasefire agreement, based on official Palestinian reports.

As mentioned, The Gaza Interior Ministry reported the victims, highlighting that the policemen were stationed to keep the incoming of humanitarian assistance in the Al-Shawka region safe, which is in the east of Rafah, during the time they were under attack.

The ministry firmly convicted the aggression and called for “mediators and the international community to pressure the (Israeli) occupation to halt its targeting of the police force, which is a civilian body responsible for maintaining public security and organizing daily affairs.”

Palestinian administrators have condemned Israel for not complying with this section of the ceasefire agreement to allow extra humanitarian assistance.
