School Students Introduced To QNB's Innovative Banking Products And Services


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) QNB hosted a workshop for students of the Qatar banking Studies and Business Administration Independent Secondary School for Girls (QBSBAS) at Grand Hamad Branch, in celebration of the International Day of Women and Students in Science, which falls on February 11 every year.

The event, organised by QNB's Public Relations Department, stems from the group's pioneering role in supporting educational initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of Qatari youth and integrating them into the development process.

It also reflects the close co-operation between the two organisations to cultivate a highly skilled generation of banking professionals, through organising field visits, training programmes, among other.

The workshop highlighted the bank's latest innovative financial products and services and its efforts to keep pace with the financial technology revolution to reshape the future of financial services in Qatar and the region, in line with the Qatar Digital Agenda 2030 and the UN SDGs to promote the empowerment of women and digital gender equality.

The students were introduced to the latest QNB innovative banking products and services led by smart technologies like as AI, blockchain, cloud, and automation. The workshop provided them with the opportunity to enhance their digital skills and learn about the most in-demand competencies for banking industry.

Participants discovered the bank's initiatives to foster professional growth and leadership development in women through continuous learning and opportunities, empowering them to ascend to higher leadership roles.

The workshop, which witnessed a remarkable interaction, was conducted by representatives from different departments of the bank from Group Retail Banking, to Human Resources, and Learning and Development. The students gained insights and deeper understanding of the nature of work in banking.
