Pakistan Establishes Donkey Slaughterhouse In Gwadar, Exports To China Begin
According to ministry officials, an agreement has been reached with China for the export of donkey hides and bones, with a Chinese company managing the operations in Gwadar.

Committee Chairman inquired why live donkeys were not being exported to China. In response, ministry officials stated that exporting live donkeys is a complex process.
He further noted that requests for setting up similar slaughterhouses in other parts of the country are also being received, and discussions are ongoing with new Chinese companies.
During the session, committee member Rana Muhammad Hayat remarked that donkey usage in Pakistan is declining due to the rise of loader rickshaws, emphasizing the need for breeding high-quality donkey breeds.
