Ukrainian Force Shoot Down 56 Enemy Drones, Another 18 Disappear From Radar


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On the night of February 6, the Air Force of the armed forces of Ukraine shot down 56 Russian drones out of 77 launched, 18 UAVs were lost.

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of Ukraine reported this in Telegram .



On the night of February 6, 2025 (from 19.00 on February 5), the Russian army attacked with 77 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Briansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo - RF and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Rostov region - RF.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.

As of 09.00, 56 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed to have been shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Odesa regions.

18 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without any negative consequences).

Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Dnipro regions were affected by the enemy attack.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of February 6, the Defense Forces struck the Russian airfield“Primorsko-Akhtarsky” in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
