(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held a phone conversation with UK Secretary of State for Defense John Healey, discussing the situation on the front lines and Ukraine's defense needs.

Umerov reported this on Telegra , according to Ukrinform.

“I had a phone conversation with the UK Secretary of State for Defense, John Healey. We discussed the current situation on the front lines and Ukraine's key defense priorities,” the Ukrainian Defense Minister wrote.

Special attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-NATO Council meeting. This is a crucial format for strengthening Ukraine's cooperation with allies and coordinating the next steps in security.

“I am grateful to the United Kingdom for its unwavering support of Ukraine and for an effective dialogue. Together, we are working to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and security!” Umerov emphasized.
