Iran Underlines Importance Of Developing Joint Economic Cooperation With Türkiye

The expansion of joint economic cooperation between Iran and Türkiye is of great importance, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh said during a meeting with Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat in Ankara on January 27, Trend reports.

According to her, strengthening ties between Iran and Türkiye is one of the main goals of the current Iranian government regarding relations between the neighboring countries.

Sadegh noted that the Iranian side has demonstrated serious will to implement the agreements reached by the joint economic commission established between the two countries.

During the meeting, Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat also stated that the discussions between the two countries continue within the framework of the joint economic commission meetings and that the further development of Iran-Türkiye relations through this mechanism is at the center of attention.

He noted that it is hopeful that these meetings will lead to the strengthening of cooperation between Iran and Türkiye.

To note, Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Farzaneh Sadegh, accompanied by high-ranking staff, paid a visit to Ankara today.
