Egypt Assails Israeli Occupation's Aggression On Syria's State Assets

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Egypt condemned in the strongest terms on Wednesday the Israeli occupation's systematic attacks on Syria's infrastructural facilities demolishing a large number of military bases and huge amounts of military hardware.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement utterly rejecting the occupation's exploitation of the Syrians' preoccupation in the internal affairs and the current vaccum of power to undermine the state assets and occupied Syrian territories.
The occupation army has seized Syrian lands and expanded into terriroties deep in Syria, it said, describing the moves as systematic breach of the international laws and an insistence on "the policy of hegemony in the region," warning of the dire repercussions of the irresponsible Israeli policies.
The ministry called on the international community and the super powers to intervene and halt the dangerous Israeli escalation against Syria. (end)
