Youth Min. Congrats Saudi Arabia, Morocco On Winning Bids Of FIFA World Cups


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information, Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on Wednesday congratulated Saudi Arabia on winning the bid to 2034 FIFA World Cup and Morocco on being named co-host of the 2030 edition with Spain and Portugal.
Minister Al-Mutairi hailed the successful bids of the two Arab countries as a remarkable achievements for the Arab World.
He congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and all the Saudi people for the well-deserved winning to host the world cup.
Al-Mutairi also conveyed his sincere congratulations to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and the Minister of Education, Preschool, and Sports, Mohamed Berrada, and the Moroccan people for successfully securing the right to co-host the FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
These distinguished achievements highlight the esteemed positions held by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco on the global stage, reflecting their ability to host and accommodate major international sporting tournaments. (end)
