
Qatar To Reopen Embassy In Syria Soon
Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar will reopen its embassy in the Arab Republic of Syria soon, after the necessary arrangements are completed, Adviser to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, announced on Wednesday.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr Al Ansari emphasized that this step aims to strengthen the close historical fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples. It also reflects the State of Qatar's steadfast support for the brotherly Syrian people, who are striving to build their state on the foundations of justice, peace, stability and prosperity.
The reopening of the embassy will enhance coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid provided by the State of Qatar via the air bridge to the Syrian people, the Adviser to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
