Autodesk Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

(MENAFN- Baystreet) Software company Autodesk (ADSK) has appointed a new chief financial officer (CFO).
Along with its earnings for this year's third quarter, Autodesk announced that it has named Janesh Moorjani as the company's new CFO. She takes over the role on Dec. 16 this year.
Since June, Autodesk executive Elizabeth Rafael has served as Autodesk's interim CFO.
The new CFO appointment comes after the maker of software for architecture and engineering firms said earlier this year that it was investigating its practices regarding free cash flow and adjusted operating margins.
Autodesk has also delayed filing its 10-K annual report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Autodesk reported third-quarter financial results that beat Wall Street forecasts.
The company announced earnings per share (EPS) of $2.17 U.S., which beat consensus expectations of $2.12 U.S. a share.
Revenue of $1.57 billion U.S. also beat analyst estimates that called for $1.56 billion U.S.
In terms of guidance, Autodesk said it expects full-year 2025 earnings of $8.29 U.S. to $8.35 U.S. per share, which is up from a previous forecast of $8.18 U.S. to $8.31 U.S.
Despite the strong financial results and news of the CFO appointment, the stock of Autodesk is down 7% in premarket trading.
So far this year, Autodesk's share price has gained 36% to trade at $317.96 U.S.
